Catch Up Funding 2020/21

Total Catch Up funding for the academic year 2020/21 is £4400 (£80 per child x 55, excludes nursery).

This was discussed as a team and decided that the best use of this funding was for extra Teaching and learning assistant hours in each class to provide small group or 1 to 1 interventions to start to address any areas of need.

Class teachers will also have some additional non-contact time in order to plan intervention sessions and assess the impact this is having.

Class 1 – will have 4 extra TA hours each week

Class 2 – will have 5 extra TA hours each week

Class 3 – will have 3.5 extra TA hours each week (this will be increased to 5 extra hours each week when staffing allows)

Following initial assessment in March 2021 of all pupils’ specific objectives have been set. The impact of these objectives will be reviewed at progress meetings in the summer term, following summer assessments.
