See what Class 3 have been up to both at school. We're a very hardworking and talented bunch!
It's nearly the end of the school year. We've had a weekend trip to Hathersage and put on an epic production of 'Pirates of the Cury Bean'. Here's us having fun with the props!
It's the Summer term and we had a welcome visit from the Wildlife Trust for our topic, 'Rivers' when, amongst lots of things, we talked about how to create a natural flood barrier. We also had the privilege of being part of 'The Wireworks Project' as part of our local history work. We invited in two local artists to help us make sculptures of living things in our local area - out of wire! The results were fantastic!
After SATs party - we had some celebrating to do!
Spring time and painted flowers for Mother's Day and an Easter hunt for classes 1 and 2 (pity about the rain).
A snapshot of class 3 life! working hard at maths, Design and Technology and Art. The Year 6s walking to Crich Stand for Remembrance Day. Making mini snowmen - well, we couldn't waste the snow, could we?
In October, we had fun and challenged our adventure thresholds by taking a trip to Lea Green.
Autumn Term and the children have created some lovely work in the Science topic, 'Earth and Space' and the Geography topic, 'Angry Earth'.
